We conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and feeding disorders in monolingual and bilingual (English/Spanish) speakers, of all ages, from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, presenting, but not limited to the following diagnoses:

INTENSIVE AND INDIVIDUALIZED THERAPY ONE-ON-ONE

We offer monolingual and/or bilingual speech, language, and feeding intervention (in English and/or Spanish) to individuals of children, ages from birth to 18 years old. Therapy 1-on-1 is planned for children with communication deficits including, but not limited to the following disorders:
- Phonological impairments
- Articulation disorders
- Oral motor deficits
- Apraxia of Speech
- Dysarthria
- Receptive-expressive language impairments
- Literacy difficulties (reading and writing)
- Social communication impairments
- Cognitive deficits
- Stuttering
- Voice and Resonance
- Feeding (feeding aversion, picky eaters)
- Swallowing.

Elizabeth Barrios MS, CCC-SLP
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist
Ms Barrios holds a certificate of clinical competence by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also PESL Compton certified by the Institute of Language and Phonology. Ms. Barrios describes her job as a multicultural journey of over 25 years through Latin America and the United States, working in the early intervention, private practice, schools, and rehabilitation settings.
Ms. Barrios earned a Master in Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida State University in the U.S. Ms. Barrios received a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Special Education (Lic. en Logopedia y Educación Especial) from the Higher Pedagogical Institute, Enrique J. Varona, in Havana, Cuba.
